2005 Annual Meeting of the International Academy of Biological Dentistyr and Medicine

2005 Annual Meeting of the International Academy

of Biological Dentistry and Medicine

Each year, the IABDM brings together some of the greatest minds in biological dentistry and medicine to teach and learn about the latest advances in these fields. It has been called “one of the country’s best meetings, every year.”

Traditionally held in the Academy’s home base of Carmel, CA, the most recent meeting was based at the DFW Marriott North in Dallas. The theme was The Physiology of Health. Speakers and topics included:

  • Dave Berg, MS, CLS/NCA – Coagulopathies: Clues to the Connection between Coagulation and Chronic Illnesses.
  • Sir Arnold Takemoto – Mercury and Heavy Metal Detoxification.
  • Louisa Williams, DC, ND, MS – The Essential Role of Cell Salts in Holistic Dentistry.
  • Omar Amin, PhD – Diagnosis and Management of Neurocutaneous Syndrome (NCS).
  • Jerry Tennant, MD – Correcting TMJ and Dental Bite: The Role of Teeth in Chronic Disease.
  • Andreanna Vaughan, RN, LMP – Klinghardt Matrix Therapy (KMT).

The 2005 meeting also marked the renaming of the organization—from the American Academy of Biological Dentistry to the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine. The change reflects the growing diversity of our membership. What began as a group of American dentists has since become a global network of DDSs, NDs, DMDs, DOs, DCs, MDs, RDHs, RNs and allied practitioners. It also stresses the very real medical impact biological dentists make in their patients’ lives and the importance of professional collaboration.

Next year marks the Academy’s 20th annual meeting. In honor of this, we will return to Carmel to share the latest knowledge and technologies of biological dentistry—and celebrate its success. Hosting programs from both the best of the old school presenters and the new, this is sure to be our most exciting and informative seminar ever.

Because of its broad scope, we strongly encourage you to bring your whole health team. Together, we will learn from cutting-edge minds, meet with and learn from our colleagues and celebrate the continued growth of biological dentistry.

The 20th Anniversary Meeting will be held from March 31 to April 2, 2006, at the Carmel Mission Inn. Registration opens in late 2005. Registration forms will be available by US Mail and online.
